Steffan Block, a former co-owner of Two Blokes and a Bus, opened "The Bustaurant" in December.

Block repurposed another English double-decker bus into a mobile restaurant and with the help of a trio of chefs, is now serving lunch and dinner around the Twin Cities. Most menus feature about a half-dozen entrees and include a vegetarian option.

Block and business partner Jon Fritzen opened Two Blokes and a Bus in 2012, but two years later the partnership ended. Now The Bustaurant focuses on British flavors, using local ingredients when possible, Block said.

"British food has been influenced so much — by the Cubans, the Italians, the Indian food," Block said.

He posts the lunch/dinner stops at the beginning of each week on The Bustaurant's Facebook page. The bus is also available for private events.

Block's new bus was built in 1954 in Bristol, England, his hometown, and is named George 54.
